Ms. Tshering Peldon is a multi-talented individual who has made significant contributions to the Film Industry of Bhutan. She is a Board Member of the Film Association of Bhutan since 2021 and has been instrumental in driving the growth and development of the industry. With a passion for acting, singing, dancing, emceeing, and program coordinating, Ms. Peldon has pursued her dreams and left her mark on the Bhutanese community.

Prior to joining the film industry, Ms. Peldon served as a Certified Government Teacher for almost nine years, where she gained valuable experience in education and administration. Ms. Peldon has also been an active volunteer and contributor to the community and the nation. As a 6th batch Desuup, she has participated in various volunteer activities and made a significant impact on society. She coordinated dance for the 114th National Day in 2021 and was the Program Coordinator for both the 115th National Day Build-up Program and 21st & 22nd Bhutan National Film Awards in 2022.

Despite her busy schedule, Ms. Peldon continues to pursue her passion for acting and other creative pursuits. Her debut as a Lead Actor in the Bhutanese movie “Sakteng Meto” in 2013 was the first step in her journey as a performer. Although she couldn’t pursue her acting career due to her civil service commitments, Ms. Peldon has found a way to serve the film industry through her role as a Board Member of the Film Association of Bhutan.

Ms. Peldon is currently working as a Liaison and Labour Relations Officer for Punatshangchhu-I Hydroelectric Project Authority, where she is responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders. Her extensive experience in management and communication has made her an invaluable asset to the organization.

Ms. Tshering Peldon is an accomplished and well-rounded individual who has made significant contributions to various fields. Her passion for the arts and dedication to service have made her a valuable member of the Bhutanese community, and her work in the film industry has helped to shape and promote the culture and traditions of Bhutan on a global stage.
