Phuntsho graduated from North Bengal University in WB, India, where he studied the art of filmmaking and acting. In 2018, 2020, and 2022, Phuntsho won the Best Actor Award for his outstanding performances in “Hum Chew Zamling,” “Tsoenra,” and “Taba Hoka,” respectively.
